I'm not the best at doing my homework and even with that, my level of Spanish understanding has increased with Alfredo's patience and humor. We spend the majority of class speaking in Spanish and only switching to English when I am really stuck. I recommend classes with Alfredo, they're fun and you'll be speaking Spanish in no time!

Alfredo is a great teacher; he's very patient, has a great sense of humor, and very helpful when it comes to learning Spanish in an effortless, natural way. He combines conversation with exercises from a book that's easy to purchase on Amazon. I feel like my Spanish has improved significantly since starting lessons with him.

Alfredo has been such a consistent force in my life as a Spanish instructor. Every week, no matter if he's traveling or not, he prioritizes his time to meet with me. I started Spanish completely from scratch at age 65 – a scary proposition– and I consider our twice-weekly lessons to be a huge plus of the pandemic.
Alfredo is very good at sizing up one's abilities and pacing the lessons accordingly. Because I was new to the language, he emphasized pronunciation early on, emailing me narrative texts (some of them comical) that he would read out loud and I would then repeat. It was a smart way to go.
Alfredo is a gem. I consider myself extremely lucky to have connected with him.
